3M Installer training helps you to be recognised and informed of the latest techniques and standards used in the industry using 3M graphic products. 3M are proud to offer in class installer training across New Zealand .
Introduction to sign making
This course is designed for apprentices or those new to the industry. It is a hands on course teaching the basic applications techniques. It covers dry applications, wet applications, weeding and applying text. There i s discussion on choosing the best technique for each task and shows some unusual applications like textured surfaces.

Digital Print Production
This course is designed for anyone operating a wide format digital inkjet printer (solvent, eco-solvent, UV curable or latex). The training explains how to optimise your production procedures to obtain high quality consistent print output including getting the best out of your printer and media, overcoming common problems, printer environment and correct media storage and handling, printer and RIP operation, colour management and troubleshooting.

VEHICLE WRAP FILM INSTALLER
This course is designed for installers who want to specialise in vehicle wraps using 3M wrap films. The training provides a thorough understanding of all stages of the wrap process, from surface preparation to finishing. This course is suitable for both experienced installers and for anyone who is new to the vehicle wrapping business.

ADVANCED VEHICLE WRAP FILM INSTALLER
This advanced level training course is designed for applicators with significant experience in vehicle wrapping. It is conducted in conjunction with Dave Wright from The Wrap Shop, who is one of New Zealand’s most experienced vehicle wrapper. Dave will discuss techniques for improving the quality of your wrap and you will practice these. Opportunities are provided so attendees can help each other as each experienced attendee will have different experiences helpful to others. This course is not for attendees who have only just attended the 3M wrapping course. Experience in the field is required before attendance.

This course is designed for sales, customer service, estimators, or small sign shop owner operators. It provides detailed knowledge of each type of window film, where it could be used and why. It covers how the films work and the technical considerations. It ensures the attendees have the knowledge to specify the correct film for each job, preventing costly issues before they arise.

FLAT GLASS SOLAR & SAFETY & SECURITY FILM INSTALLER
This course is a hands on course designed for installers. It provides instruction in correct tools to use and techniques to correctly install 3M window films for both tint, safety and security film.
